We believe learning should be accessible in every form or place, and certainly available to all on this blog.
But it will be…
As Confucius said:
“One may not open a blog without learning anything”.
Well… they might have called them ‘books’ back then.
At any rate, the common denominator for all the visitors should be the same desire to learn about French culture, language, food, customs or even hidden treasures (no jewels, but special places not to miss like the white horses of Camargue).
And that is why you are here, right?
If you wish to take a risk exploring the unknown intricacies of the culture française, it should not take more than 30 days to absorb. That is of course, as long as you do NOT begin to enjoy the adventurous learning journey; which may drift you closer to a 30 years experience.

Sorry, I just couldn’t bear the cliché that all words of philosophical wisdom erupted from China 6,000 years ago…
Learning French while reading English ?
What does that even mean ?!?!
Simple. 45% of English words take root in French, and thousands of expressions are also used in everyday conversations.
So whether you like it or not, you know more French than you think.
In fact, I bet I can tell you an entire short story using 90% of French words that you would understand…
